Advantage Catering have a Sales office in Dover and a Service Manager in London. They had a telephone system which was inadequate for their needs as when the Service Manager was out he would divert the calls to Dover. However if Dover Sales Office was busy calls would be answered by a virtual receptionist causing further call costs and diversion services.
We installed a Panasonic NCP telephone system with their existing ISDN lines and an IP extension for the London office. This means the London office has an extension off the system at Dover, allowing them to answer Dover calls. The London telephone number was integrated to a SIP Trunk service, these virtual lines were programmed onto the Panasonic NCP telephone system, giving additional capacity and numbers. This also gave the ability for both offices to answer each others calls therefore sharing the workload and reducing costs.
Auto Attendant and Voice Mail was set up. Field engineers were supplied with Iphone extension apps to enable them to make and receive calls free of charge through the office system when out on the field. The future plan will be to use Go Connect dialing from there PC screen through their Sales Force CRM package.
